My story begins with a little girl that loved art and grew to make her living in art. I t would seem that art was my destiny, being born with the name Bonnie Green and later to marry and become Bonnie Blue. Art emanates from my being and I so desire to share "God's heart through art.:" Women that Rock represent all women everywhere who are deeply, individually and unconditionally loved by God. When I see a rock, I see faces, your faces, and I am compelled to paint, from my heart to your's , Bonnie Blue.
In 2002 , 1 year after the creation of "women that rock" Bonnie created the Women Rock Artcar and began to take her message and her art on the road. Bonnie has traveled to 10 states now bringing many smiles across the miles and winning numerous awards along the way.
In 2006 Bonnie began painting "women on Canvas" as another medium to express her message that "women rock!"
In 2007 Bonnie began doing caricatures on Texas River rocks at parties, etc. Her greatest joy currently; is handing a finished rock to whomever she is painting at the moment ,and say to them "YOU ROCK!"
